We recently had a great improvement in our business which increased the lead generation more than 3 times. That is why I thought it would be great to share our experience.
Maybe we can start by trying to answer this question:
What should the minimum lead ggeneration be that you are getting per month?
There probably isn’t a right answer for that. We may search for a benchmark for each industry to see if we are below the average, but that’s hard to find. While I was doing my research on this topic, I found some interesting numbers about conversion rate, but in my opinion they were too high.
I therefore decided to define my own numbers. If you don’t get 20 leads per month in a B2B business and you are not selling nuclear reactors, you probably can do better! Talking about conversion rates, I recommend that you try to reach at least 2% and at least 1K visits per month for a Small Business. An enterprise should get at least 10 times more.
How can you increase the lead generation by 3 times or more?
The answer is quite simple: make your site look amazing! Improve your site! Make it look good! Yes, people care about it!!
Our last website is revamped, which increased our monthly lead generation more than 3 times.
And if you are wondering what we did to our site: we improved the design, included more images, more information, we improved our branding image, the mobile experience, and we tried to do the best that we could. However, that doesn’t mean we did a perfect job. We still have a lot of work to do but we reached a value where the change made the difference, and we were able to see immediate results.
Now, if you want to improve your conversion rate, take a look at your site and see what you can refine. Something useful is to compare with your competitors and other industries’ sites, and see if what you have now is the best you can have.
